Search vendors

GET /api/v1/vendors

Search vendors with filters for category, location, and price range.

Query parameters

`category`	string	Exact category name, e.g. `Photography & Videography`. Use a `name` from the categories endpoint below
`state`	string	State name, case-insensitive (e.g. `California`)
`city`	string	City name, case-insensitive (e.g. `Los Angeles`)

`price_min`	number	Minimum starting price (USD)
`price_max`	number	Maximum starting price (USD)
`search`	string	Free-text search across vendor names and bios
`featured`	boolean	Filter for featured vendors only
`sort_by`	string	Sort order: `newest`, `price_low_to_high`, `price_high_to_low`, `experience`, `weddings_completed`
`limit`	number	Results per page (default: 20, max: 100)
`cursor`	string	Cursor for pagination (from `pagination.next_cursor`)

GET /api/v1/vendors/categories

Returns every category that has active vendors, with counts. Pass a category's name as the category filter when searching.

Notes

Vendor detail includes website and instagram for direct contact. The search endpoint returns a leaner response without these fields.
Photos. Search results carry the vendor's primary photo in featured_image_url. Vendor detail adds up to 5 portfolio photos, primary first, and total_photos; the full portfolio is on the vendor's url. Photo URLs are absolute CDN URLs: the medium-size WebP when one exists, otherwise the original image. logo_url is reserved and currently null.
To submit a lead through WedStay's pipeline, use POST /api/v1/inquiries/vendor.
